MINDFULNESS RETREAT

The therapist, Angeles Martinez Bodi has over 30 years of teaching experience specialising in psychology. She has worked in England in different institutions helping to implement psychological therapies.

She has a degree in Sociology, for a greater knowledge of group behaviour, a master’s degree in education and teaching and a master’s degree in Mindfulness.

Objectives

  • Importance of paying attention.
  • Focus on the potential value of the, here and now.
  • Encourages positive habits.
  • Promote sensations, thoughts, emotions, and ideas as phenomena of the mind subject to mutations, and changes.
  • Assertiveness and encourage empathy.

The retreat is an holistic experience and recognise the importance of complimentary therapies, so  we offer the opportunity to try coaching and Reiki:

This includes lunch and late snacks.

It is not necessary to have completed a meditation retreat before – if this is your first retreat, go ahead.

The course will be conducted in English and Spanish

1/2 day Course Schedule

Those interested in this 1/2 day course will be able to choose from Monday to Thursday morning or afternoon groups.

The morning group is from 9 to 2.30 and the afternoon group from 4 to 9.30

The price per person is 35 euros and includes.

 

Morning group

9.30- 10.00 Introduction

10.00-11.00 Nut and sultana exercise, feedback.  

                       5 minute break

11.05-12.05 Learning self-regulation of the emotions and exploring “body scan and meditation

                       Sedente, Feedback

                       5-minute break

12.05-13.05 Exercises to reconnect with the present, sound meditation and clepsydra

13.05-14.05 Introduction to walking meditation and the practice of walking meditation

14.05-14.20 3 exercises to do: do something nicer and more enjoyable

                       3 exercises to do: Attention to routine  

Farewell: 3 minutes of conscious breathing. definition of a purpose to be achieved during the week

16.30-17.30 introduction to walking meditation and walking meditation practice
