Welcome to El-Figueral, our remote, and secluded, 8.8-hectare olive farm located in the Province of Tarragona, Catalunya Spain.
Our Luxurious Farm house is located in a beautiful valley with amazing River Ebro and mountains views from where we offer sole occupancy self catering rural holidays. Our renovated farmhouse retains its original character but offers a modern open and light feel, its positioning and design takes full advantage of its amazing location and provides a touch of rural luxury, with three of its four bedrooms on suite, large swimming pool, full air conditioning, central heating and for the colder months warm and cosy log fires.
The farmhouse is ideal for families and friendship groups looking for a relaxing, quiet, and peaceful holiday in a very tranquil location. Laze around the large pool, patios, and terraces or take advantage of any of the many local activities. Walking, cycling, fishing (on our private pegs on the River Ebro), kayaking, playing golf, enjoying the beaches, discovering the rich history of the area, or wine tasting. We are located between the Terra Alta, Priorate, and Monsant wine regions.
Our riverside village of Benifallet has an amazing selection of restaurants and bars for a village of its size. Try a local menu del día, tapas, or ala carte menu or explore further afield in the Delta de Ebre or any of the many local rural or coastal villages.
We offer a self-catering Spanish rural holiday experience but we understand our guests like to be pampered on odd occasions. So, we offer additional services such as relaxing therapies or a meal prepared at home by our professional chef.
The Local Area Information
Benifallet and the surrounding area is the “Real Spain”. Enjoy the Sights, smells, and sounds of the Mediterranean, sun, friendly people, fiestas, and the beaches of the Costa Durada. The area is steeped in history, from the Romans to the Spanish Civil war. The lower Ebre being the epicentre of the bloodiest battle, the battle de Ebre.
Visit Tortosa just 20 minutes away with its bars, restaurants and historical heritage dating back to roman occupation. Or, the pictures riverside village of Miravet 15 minutes away with its Knight’s Templar castle, riverside cafes, and restaurants.
